Canvas was replaced in 2010 with Stamoid (the best there is), and raised 12", providing excellent headroom and visibility. Gore-tex thread was used, so there will never be a worry about thread rotting out.
The interior was redone as well, with new upholestry for the V-berth cushions, all new pex plumbing, new head, a new stainless steel microwave and a 19" flat screen HDTV.
The aft cabin sleeps two adults in comfort, as does the front V-berth. A shower in the head works great for sandy feet or when you just need more privacy than the marina provides.
Back to the exterior, the hull was painted with Awlgrip three years ago, and should last the lifetime of the boat. Safety was also a prime consideration as the boat is equipped with a Xintex fuel vapor monitor, automatic Halon fire extinguisher in the engine compartment, three bilge pumps, ship to shore radio, GPS, as well as flares, life jackets and signaling devices.
Also available for an additional $3000 is a Loadmaster Trailer custom made for this boat only three years ago. The trailer was designed to be overbuilt for this model, and is equipped with two 6000 pound axles, as well as electric brakes (on both axles) and a spare tire.
